| 夜の暗に 閉されし世の時こそは 忌はしき事の絶間なかりき | ||||
| 2 | Indeed in the time when The world was shut in The darkness of night Did not cease disagreeable, Unpleasant matters and affairs. |

暗き世は 曲の隠るる隙ぞあり 醜業仇事沸くぞうたてし |
||||
| 3 | So displeasing the Dark world, with cracks and Crevices where can hide evil, To burst forth with the impure, Resentment, and with revengefulness. |

長き世の 罪や穢の重なりて 此世の生命危ふかりける |

| 4 | The sins and impurities Of the world long Amassing, life, Existence in this World is in danger. |

行戻り ならぬ此世の罪穢 洗ひ浄めよ祓戸の神 |
