The Principles of Jyorei

     I bestow, on every one of my followers, “Ohikari.” I write “Light” on a piece of paper, and as soon as a person receives this “Ohikari” and puts it around his neck, he can give Jyorei effectively. Strong light-waves are given out from the ink of these inscriptions I write, and these pass into the body of the believer through his arms and are radiated afresh from his palms. The power of these radiations is greatest at a range of between a food and several yeards. The Light give out by myself is carried instantaneously to the inscription of each and every “Ohikari” by spiritual cords. This process very closely resembles that by which a central broadcasting station sends out radio signals to any number of receivers. My spiritual body radiates light-waves through the spiritual cords; but what property, you may ask, does my spirit that allows it to do this? I shall dispel any are of [sic] doubt you may entertain by the following explanation.
     I have in my body a Ball of Light about two inches in diameter. This has been witnesses by more than one person. Infinitely powerful Light waves are given out by this Ball. The fundamental source of the light energy of the Ball is to be found in the spiritual world. The Orb of Kannon constantly and infinitely replenishes its Power with Divine Light rays which are directed at me. This is the power of Kannon, the mysterious Power, the Myochiriki, as it is often called. This Ball is the same as that borne by Nyoirin Kannon.
