¶  We fear debt more than germs.

¶  Society is just chock full of embezzling bureaucrats, would-be intellectual Robin Hoods, high-class gangsters, and the like.

¶  Education these days fashions children into adults, makes adults into old people, and gets old people to die. You must be kidding!

¶  Parents, pull yourselves together! Education policy produces a lot of bratty greenhorns.

¶  What is most frightening about barbs (epigrams) is that they can pierce the heart.

¶  You may have thought the Diet chambers were a stage for discussion, but it turns out that they are a ring for fists and knuckles.

¶  Rather than polish their argumentative skills, Diet members should first exercise their physical strength.

¶  In the next election, if a judoist declares his candidacy there is no doubt he will win.
