Great Construction
The Creation of Heaven and the Issue of Health
There is certainly no call to declare anew what kind of world we are talking about when we explain the paradise on earth that World Messianity expounds. As is well known and as I have repeated too many times to count, paradise on earth is of course the removal from all of humanity of the three great sufferings that are the three calamities of disease, poverty, and conflict. Of course, the primary condition for those three calamities is the suffering of disease. In this sense, because God seeks to save humanity, salvation must first start with resolving the problem of disease. It should be said that without health, there can be no happiness. Without the power to heal disease, whether religion or science must be considered worse than useless. Poverty and conflict will have no reason to exist if the problem of health is resolved.
There probably has not been a religious institution or branch of some science that has promoted such an exaggerated, outlandish proposition of a world free of disease, poverty, and conflict as World Messianity. Moreover, the promotion of such a world is why World Messianity is most well known so we would not be able to advocate for this world unless we had absolute conviction. If we had advocated such a world without such conviction, we would be either con artists trying to deceive society or else lunatics. If we were either one of these two groups, we would not have been able to have gathered the unprecedented number of more than a hundred thousand followers in the space of such a short time, nor does the fact that the number of followers continues to gradually increase not stand up to the logic that we are con artists or lunatics. Thus would it be desirable for society’s intellectuals and elites to give our work careful consideration.
It is for the reasons I have outlined above that World Messianity announces resolution of the problem of health and makes the healing of disease its primary mission. To inform the world of actual cases of healing, we continue to fill each issue of the newspaper Hikari and the journal Chijôtengoku with accounts of those miraculous healings. It is certain that those third parties who do indeed read these accounts, particularly the authorities but also scholars and specialists, will come to have some feelings of doubt about the current state of affairs. That is because those accounts are all miracles that should not have taken place. It can be anticipated that through their respective institutions administrators and specialists will make detailed investigations. The results of these studies will include those that have the danger to cause unparalleled problems. Are these many accounts true? Are they false? If they are in fact true without any trace of exaggeration or trickery, then what is this Johrei? Because the issue under investigation is indeed so without precedent in the world today, investigations and studies may even lead to the point of serious, even unimaginable consequences.
But facts are facts and truth is truth. One would ask why we should go to all the trouble of committing such a foolish act as causing such a great serious problem. Taking a step back and considering the situation carefully, however, our great project is entirely an expression of the absolute authority, that is, of time behind which cannot but be recognized the great love of God. As can be seen from reading the countless examples in these accounts, what will the people of the world think when they see patients of serious and grave conditions, who had been groaning from the pain of suffering, in spite of depending on existing medical treatments who had fallen into the depths of despair, that these tragic people having learned of the Johrei of World Messianity suddenly met with the joy of having been brought back to life, to the point where some cannot even find words to express their appreciation. If these facts were to be denied or doubts about them happen to come about, it would be because such persons did not have any experience or contact with those involved. If, as a result of a thorough investigation, it is discovered that there was no doubt about the truthfulness of the facts, is not it only human that the power of World Messianity be used to help toward resolving the sufferings of the present world? If these amazing results are not seriously considered or are ignored, one can only think that the individual is lacking in a love for humanity, or, is in some unavoidable circumstances, or else is suffering from mental disease.
The rough sketch above may perhaps be overly lacking in reserve, but for those of us imbued with the divine intention of world salvation, it is an irrepressible roar.
