Romantic Love and Religion
Often I am asked about romantic love and I respond as follows. In and of itself, romantic love is the greatest blessing that God has bestowed upon human beings. The natural outcome of romantic love is said to be marriage, and this interpretation is true.
Therefore, wisdom and self-examination must be exercised in romantic love. The instances of unrestrained romantic love observed so many times in society are examples where those involved have gone down the wrong path which does constitute a sin. Sin formed in this manner must be repaid in agony manyfold.
