Message to Mark Establishment:
The Birth of the Church of World Messianity
The Japan Kannon Church which was established as a religious juridical person on August 30, 1947, and the Japan Miroku Church which was established as a religious juridical person on October 30, 1947, have both voluntarily dissolved themselves, and on the occasion of the Beginning of Spring, February fourth this year, the two groups have organized themselves together under the same structure, giving birth to Religious Juridical Person Church of World Messianity, as indicated in the title.
There is an important significance to this event, the result, of course, of God’s profound direction. It should be needless to say at this point that this change does not arise as a result of human intention but, as is part of our fundamental teachings, comes about because the world has entered the transition from night to day in the spiritual world. We also teach that the salvation of Buddhism was for the age of night and that as night is extinguished, the salvation of the Boddhisattva Regarder of the Cries of the World will be transferred and expanded. This transition, simply speaking, is what is referred to as the end of the Buddhist law. Therefore, the activities of the Boddhisattva Regarder of the Cries of the World will come to be those of the Messiah. In other words, the Boddhisattva Regarder of the Cries of the World, which was merely one of many manifestations, will shed its Buddhist mask and perform the activities of its original, true divine self.
As the transition to daylight in the spiritual world is being reflected in the present world, it is only natural that those aspects of the culture of night that are unnecessary will perish and that those aspects that are beneficial will remain. These changes are not the only events that will take place. During the long period of darkness, the sins and impurities caused by the human race that have accumulated are considerable, and a cleansing of these sins and impurities must be conducted. This cleansing is what I mean by the extinction of the unnecessary aspects of the culture of night. At the same time, however, will be begun construction of the civilization of daylight. This construction, a great turning point absolutely unprecedented, marks God’s program which was determined thousands, nay, millions of years ago.
Another way to explain is to say that this transition is global destruction and construction on a grand scale. Ah, now at this important moment when this transition is being realized, we must understand the form God’s great love will take. To wit, its embodiment is the determination of what is to perish and what is to remain. What must perish must unavoidably perish, but the benevolence of God aims to bestow salvation from destruction on as many people as possible and has selected an agent and had him undertake the great task of world salvation. The structure for the managing this task is the Church of World Messianity, so great indeed is the mission of Church of World Messianity. In this sense, activities during the period of the approach of the last moments deserve careful attention, and the paradise on earth that we advocate must be the final goal.
Until now, I have acted in the name of adviser to conduct divine administration from the side, but now that the foundation has been completed, activities will move to the surface. In short, it is time for the main act of the drama known as the last judgment. In all areas, therefore, including the shape of the organization, the form of activities also will gradually come about.
As it states in our prayer, the divine name does change, Regarder of the Cries of the World, Tathagata of Divine Light, Messiah, Maitreya, being some of these names, but as these all indicate the same divine spirit, fundamentals do not change. In accord with the times, the sphere of activity of divine spirit enlarges, so until a certain period, there is no need to change the contents of the divine scroll or focal points. There are various items I would like to explain right now, and as time proceeds, it will gradually be possible to announce them, so at this point I will stop today.
Finally a point that must be made is that because our activities until now have been the those of the Boddhisattva Regarder of the Cries of the World, they were Eastern, but as the time is fast approaching, with one large leap forward, all of humanity must be saved. It is necessary to expand salvation world-wide. For which is the name Church of World Messianity.
The salvation of Boddhisattva Regarder of the Cries of the World was indiscriminate and encompassing, including both good and evil, but now as the approach of paradise on earth is directly ahead, good and evil will be distinguished and judged, good will prosper, and evil must perish; evil will progress no further. Thus, the power of salvation must also be decisive and that power is the great divine power wielded by the Messiah.
Ah, ah, has come the time for celebration.
