Why We Have Become World Messianity
Both the Japan Kannon Church and the Miroku Church have only been in existence for a little less than three years and yet at this time these two churches have been amalgamated into one and inaugurated as a new organization under the name of World Messianity. I am sure all my followers want to know why.
I teach that God shows all through prototypes and the undertaking of prototypes. It is as prototypes that spirit and body, the vertical and the horizontal, unite to form a balanced cross which then leads to the unfolding of the activity of God. In Japanese, God is kami. The vertical and the horizontal are fire and water. Fire is the ka of kami, and water is the mi of kami, resulting in the activity of God.
Buddhism is of the moon, and because the moon is the light for night, and the Boddhisattva Avalokiteshvara is a Buddhist being, Avalokiteshvara performed activity of the moon during night, so it could not wield absolute power, which was unavoidable as the time was not right. The world of daylight is now beginning, so the activity of the Buddhist beings will end, and the time has come time for the activity of God. Thus, our activities have become World Messianity.
The world has entered the period of the activity of God. The religion of Japan, Shinto, is written in ideograms as “way of the kami,” that is, “way of the gods,” but that of which I speak has nothing to do with the Shinto of antiquity. Shinto is merely a folk religion of the Japanese people and signifies nothing in a world in which all aspects of life have become global in scale. The ever weakening influence of Shinto since the end of the war has no other meaning. It is truly a time to be grateful because the highest level of divine beings have begun to work without regard to race, ethnicity, or nation-state to save all the people of the world. In these circumstances, “saving the world” is certainly an appropriate name for our work, but written in ideograms with the typical Sino-Japanese reading of kyûsei is not satisfactory because it is only Eastern, Oriental. For that reason, the phonetic letters for “Meshiya” (Messiah) were added as the way to indicate the pronounciation for the ideograms “saving the world” to create a name that is neither Eastern nor Western but truly global. Especially so, since the word “Messiah,” having much in common with Christianity, embodies aspiration and yearning throughout the civilized nations of the world. Also, from what I understand, “Messiah” has a close connection with the last judgment and this is truly deeply significant because the last judgment means the same as the end of night and the beginning of daylight which is one of our basic teachings.
My followers will be especially interested to know in what way will change the activity of the Boddhisattva Avalokiteshvara to that of God. I have taught on many occasions that the salvation for both the good and the bad extended unconditionally by the Boddhisattva Avalokiteshvara will end, and hence the distinction between good and evil will be made clear and the two set distinctly apart. Blessings and God’s protection will increase for the good and judgment of evil will become ever more severe. All should proceed with their activities in the world with these points instilled deeply in their hearts for which the continual reading and studying of the teachings of God is best.
God will construct an ideal world of complete truth, virtue, and beauty, so those who have impure hearts that have fallen into error must reform themselves thoroughly.
