Proof of Divine Spirit Through Science

     Recently, the fact that the light emitted by the sacred focal point is stronger than X-rays has been shown scientifically. That report, as given below, was sent in by a member, so I would like to add a simple explanation here. Light is emitted from the letters I write and the actions that the letters describe is brought about, as is demonstrated in this episode.
     In our present age where the materialistic scientific view predominates, it is probably impossible for some people to believe that the incident described actually occurred. But facts are facts that even the most hardened materialist should not be able to deny.
     The rapid growth of our organization is taken as an object of amazement by society, so our work is easily made a subject of controversy. Most criticisms merely state that we are peculiar, and it is quite regrettable that there are very few who actually try to investigate the cause for our astounding results.
     The reason for the expansion of our work is the method of healing disease called Johrei that is practiced by members. This method does an excellent job of curing illness. Not only are quickly cured those who have received a death sentence from doctors and those who have tried every other kind of treatment available and are still not cured, but these people also learn thoroughly the cause of disease and the truth about good health. These individuals gain true peace of mind and become happy in their lives and so join in our work. Some of our members may join for other religious reasons but the fact that we do actually cure disease is the main reason for our growth.
     A simple explanation of Johrei is in order. When one takes the introductory class and puts the sacred focal point around the neck for the first time, the power to heal is immediately activated. This is because the sacred focal point generates a strong light that is radiated through the body of the channel and out through the palm of the hand. This is spiritual divine light, not visible to most eyes, though there are occasionally some individuals who do actually see it. The light is stronger than X-rays. Simply put, the particles of light are tens of thousands times finer than those of X-rays, so they are invisible as they pass through the atmosphere. According to the laws of physics, the denser the particles, the harder they are to see and the more strength they gain. In this sense, the particles of God’s light will be identified as material science progresses to and reaches its zenith. This discovery will be the concord of science and religion, the realization of which I often speak.
     When people become aware of this, they realize it is no exaggeration to say that the healing method of Johrei is the most advanced scientific method thus is the true medical art for the twenty-first century. 

Tears of Joy at the Miracle

     At the beginning of last year, my stomach began to hurt and my appetite decreased, so I went to a doctor who diagnosed gastroptosis for which I took off from work to recuperate. While I was taking medicine, my condition seemed to be cured, but when I stopped taking the medicine, I came down with the symptoms again. My condition did not show any improvement and I spent day and night in pain. I live in a very inconveniently located fishing village that is a two-hour boat ride from Nobeoka, so for treatment, I had to take off work and stay in Nobeoka. I became very depressed. One time when I was riding the boat back home from business having to do with work, someone told me about World Messianity and the way difficult diseases could be healed with the focal point. I was not very impressed very much by the account and thought it rather fantastic, so I forgot about it at the time. It just happened that the daughter of Mr. Hidaka of the village ration center had a condition where the back of her neck swelled to a very big size. Electrotheraphy did not help and the doctor said she would have to be hospitalized for a long time wearing a cast, so she was very downhearted. At this point she decided to depend on the Divine Light Tathagata and received a focal point from the church in Nobeoka. Everyone was astonished to see that she was as good as new after receiving Johrei only five times. I thought it was worth a try rather than continuing to suffer as I had, so I stopped going to the doctor, and, praying to God, visited the church in Nobeoka on August 25. I was given a focal point and also received Johrei then. On the way to church, I had been very weak, just barely able to get to the church, but after one Johrei, I felt much better and when I got home, I did as the minister told me and instead of eating the usual rice gruel, I ate normal food. That did not satisfy me, so I went to a diner in town and ate to my heart’s content. I had just tested Johrei, but I was so happy at how my stomach felt after such a long time of suffering. The minister at church had told me that I would probably have diarrhea the next morning, and I did, but I was astonished because it was curious that I did not have any other changes.
     Before this had happened I had made an appointment to have an X-ray taken at the doctor’s, and I thought it wouldn’t hurt to have it done, so I put my focal point in my shirt pocket and went to the hospital. In the X-ray room, there were three or four other people waiting to have their X-rays taken. My turn came and I was told to take my shirt off. I put my focal point in my pant’s pocket and had my X-ray taken. The results were very interesting. The people before and after me had X-rays that were clearly visible, but mine was no good because it was just a cloudy mass. The technician was bewildered and took another groups of X-rays, and as before, X-rays of the people before and after me were all right, but mine was, as bad as before. The technician thought this was strange, and called the doctor. They checked the machine and measured the voltage, but the machine was running properly and the voltage was normal at 100 volts, so there shouldn’t have been anything wrong. They had taken X-rays of me with the other patients several times already, so they tried again this time with other patients.
     The doctor himself took the X-ray but he was astonished to find that the results were the same. The others’ X-rays all were all clear.
     After the third time, they stopped taking X-rays. The doctor was at his wit’s end because of this failure. I am sure that the Divine Light Tathagata gave me that miracle to show that taking the X-ray was not necessary. I realized that the doctor would not be necessary from now on and that I would have a healthy body if I depended upon the power of the Divine Light Tathagata. I now go to church every day, receive Johrei, and slowly I am getting my original healthy body back.
     Even now I am astonished and impressed by this great power which transcends the limits of science. Thank you very much.
