Great Construction
Preface
I would like all of you to think about the present state of the entire world. Needless to say, almost everything in it is in an absolutely distorted condition. We cannot say there is nothing which is in its true state, but very few things are and the suffering of humanity which is resulting from this is so great that we cannot give even the roughest idea as to how long it will take for the solution to be brought about.
In a nutshell, the whole world is sick and so is each individual country. It is a fact that this big world is a collection of individuals. When we give deep thought to this we come to realize that the unwholesome condition of each of these individuals is reflected on his or her country and then on the entire world, making it sick, too. We can come to understand this better by reversing the situation. That is, when each individual becomes healthy his or her country becomes healthier and then the world becomes healthier.
When you understand this logic you realize that a paradise on earth, which is our goal, cannot be created in any other way. For this reason, it is possible to achieve this great goal through the healing of the sick condition of every suffering individual.
