NINETY-NINE PERCENT VERSUS ONE PERCENT

　　This article is an excerption from "CREATION OF CIVILIZATION".

　　As I have written in the preceding chapter, the cause of war is the evil itself which resides in human beings. The essence of this evil is expression of desire of the animal spirits as I have written before, which is evident from the brutal nature of the acts of evils. I mean by "animal" primarily, of course, beasts, and then birds; in rare cases insects or worms, and also fishes. Every one of them is needed for the management of physical aspects of human desires and God has created human beings as such, so they are the so-called necessary evils. However, since these animal spirits are connected with the boss in the world of evil spirits, they are perfectly controlled by the boss as he likes. And there are ranks in the world of evil spirits as well and each evil spirit possesses an individual person whose spiritual rank corresponds to that of the evil spirit in question. The ranks of evil spirits range widely from higher to lower and the world of evil spirits has the same structure as that of righteous spirits.

　　In this way, from the primitive ages to the present day, mankind has passed the time of good and evil confronting each other for tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands years until today. Needless to say, during this period of time the evil spirits have been more powerful, so the righteous spirits have tended to be oppressed by them, but eventually, the evil was defeated and the righteous won the victory, the proof of which is easily found in history, that is to day, if the evil had prevailed, the world would have been collapsed and this world, which we see today, could never exist. Until today, time has favored the evil to some extent, in other words, the world has been in the age of Night. Of course, the Night is darkness itself and the light power to get the evil under control has been insufficient, so it couldn't be helped. For this reason, the world until today has been the place where even the evil could achieve their purpose, which could be maintained for quite a long time, so the people who witnessed such states of affairs were deluded that it was the easier way to succeed in anything by evil means, and their followers also came up in turn. As a result, the public have been universally infected by the evil and such delusion has even become the commonsensical precept for their life.

　　As we know from history, it appears temporarily that people are successful by evil means, but it is inevitable for them to fail some day; however, the majority of people have been insensible to such reality. Therefore, we can say that human history is no more than a record of continuous alternation of success and failure both brought through the evil. Because the evil power has been very strong in the age of Night as mentioned above, not a few righteous people became victims to the evil. Among them were especially many religious figures, and the greatest victim was the Jesus Christ. Even me, if I had been born in that age, I might have experienced unthinkable suffering; however, the Night has ended as I tell you all the time, and now that the present age has taken a step into the dawn of the age of Day and it is allowed to get off with less suffering, we are achieving progress following the scheduled course.

　　By the way, you should bear in mind at this point that what I mention as plans and activities of the evil deities means not only war and violence, but in all areas they have been moving on under such a detailed and long-range program. The most successful achievement among them is materialistic science. This materialistic science is precisely the greatest weapon, by which they have brought amazing benefits to all mankind, and at the same time, exploiting this weapon to gain people's trust, they intend ultimately to grab the absolute power over the human race; this is the very program of the evil, whose aim is definitely to govern the life of human being. Since what they have developed with this aim is modern medical science, they intend to cure disease completely by materialistic method, and apparently it is indeed likely to be cured, but substantially it is far from the truth at all; nevertheless, their intelligence is crafty enough to exert itself by every possible means. Of course, what they adopt as their means are machine, light beam, new drug, operation, etc. and their pathology is theorized exhaustively in microscopic detail as well, but nobody has ever been able to see through the real situation. In the light of this, say, if you contract some disease and ask about the source of the disease, the answer is mere formality; they cannot give an explanation to the point and are always making an extremely vague answer. Besides, if you ask them how the disease will turn out to be, their answers are, "It would perhaps be...," and they cannot come to a conclusion. Even if they draw a conclusion, it is an error in nine cases out of ten; this would be what doctors themselves usually experience as well.

　　The next subject is the food problem. This problem comes down to the chemical fertilizer which has been produced mostly on scientific grounds as well just like medicine. I suppose since this also showed temporary effect at first, people were deceived and it has pervaded each nation as we see today, of which I give a full explanation in another chapter.

　　And the next issue is war; this is also, as I have described before, what ambitious and competent persons of the time plotted at the sacrifice of many human lives so that they would be the supreme rulers; however, these would allow their dream of success to come true only temporarily as well and result in failure with no exceptions only to survive as mere episodes in history.

　　So far, I have examined roughly about evils; in the light of which it is also clear that the time has come when God liquidates materialistic culture. Now that the purpose of evil deity has come near to being fulfilled, God reveals the truth through me. If you think deeply about this, you will find it really defies conjecture how profound and subtle the grand design of God is. Now, if seen from a different aspect, this will mean that since God has the power of one hundred percent while evil deity has the power of ninety-nine percent, God surpasses by one percent and turns the table by this one-percent power, so this power is indeed Nyoi Houshu (or Nyoi Houju; Sanskrit: cintamani which means wish-fulfilling jewel. Mokichi Okada reported that the Nyoi Houshu fell from heaven and dwelled at the central part of his body on 15th of June in 1950, when he was being held in a jail on a charge of the so-called "Religious Persecution Incident".) So, as I always say, contemporary culture will be changed at the maximum point of ninety-nine percent, when the end of the world comes which Jesus Christ said. Therefore, it must be at this very moment when an earth-shaking extraordinary cataclysm will occur. Those who can believe in this, they will be eternally happy people.

　　And because one and only one thing of the program is modern science, the revolution of medicine will take place as a matter of course. What should replace the medical science is our method of Johrei. For, there is no need to dwell on the fact that an average person who has no knowledge of medicine will be given the power after several days' training to cure sick people on the verge of death with whom so many doctors have no idea what to do. Consequently, with this power it will be no difficult matter at all to dissolve the errors in modern culture which have been committed and accumulated for several tens of centuries.

　　At this moment in time, the mantle of Night is chopped down and the brilliant sun appears to rise, so it is now that is the dawn of the Day. If it is true that those who do believe are happy, as Jesus Christ said, it will be inevitable that those who do not believe are destined to go to ruin.
