Great Construction
The Redeemer and the Savior
In addressing the fundamental reasons for evil, so far I have written about how evil has been necessary until now, that through evil we have seen the progress and development of the culture we have today, but here I must bring up another important factor which is that throughout history various religions have appeared and without exception have encouraged virtue, or good, and firmly rejected evil. Rejecting evil and encouraging virtue is only natural as the removal of evil is religion’s official stance, but in this regard I receive questions such as the following. “Isn’t it a great contradiction that the gods and the buddhas who are the embodiments of love and compassion also created human beings who would be made to commit sin for which they would have to be punished? Such being the case, if they had not created that such as evil in the first place, there would be no necessity to have to punish it. Wouldn’t that be the true love of God?” Indeed this question is most apropos and there is nothing that can be said in response. Actually, I have the same way of thinking, so each time I am asked this question, this is how I reply: “You are indeed not mistaken, but since I did not create evil, I cannot explain why it exists. Since God created evil, there is no doubt that God will disclose the fundamental reasons for having created evil, so there is nothing to do but wait until that time.”
And at long last, that time has come, so as God has revealed in detail why evil was created, I cannot suppress my joy. Since there are probably many who share the same doubts as I describe above, if the following is read, it should be a matter of course that it will suddenly open the eyes as if a lamp had been lit on a dark night. Until today the reason religious leaders and such have only censured evil is because as, I described previously, there is a reason why evil was necessary for a certain term and thus the Creator did not inform humanity of this profound significance. Therefore, even true divine beings had no way of knowing this reason, so they could only attempt to create a world paradise on the basis of righteousness. The negative forces on the other hand, strove to fulfill their ambitions through evil by whatever means.
The time for the expiration of evil has finally come, so the Creator is exercising direct energy, direct power. The Creator has chosen a human being, me, and has revealed the fundamental basis of good and evil. He has shown me thus because until now, the founders of all religions lacked the power to deal directly with evil. The best example is Christ. Christ himself said he was the Redeemer, but he did not say that he was the Savior. The Redeemer is the one who redeems, who expatiates, who atones for sin. That is, Christ had the role of taking on the sins of all, apologizing to the Creator, and begging forgiveness. To put it briefly, Christ is the representative of every one, the divine one who is forgiven, not the divine one who forgives. As penalty for the sins he had accepted and taken on, he was hung on the cross.
This principle applies to Buddhism as well. From the beginning, Shakyamuni preached numerous sutras devoted completely to the construction of the world of ultimate bliss, but as he himself predicted, his movement did not show that much growth, and as the Buddhist scriptures say, “At the age of seventy-two years, I have been able to see the truth,” and he discovered his own true karma and mission. Here he attained satori about his mistakes to that point of his life and learned that the appearance of a world of ultimate bliss was far off in the future, so, he confessed that since the mistakes he had propounded up to that point were not few, that what he was now teaching was the truth. What he taught formed the Sutra of the Decline of the Law, the Appearance and Fulfillment of Maitreya Sutra, and the Twenty-eighth chapter of the Lotus Sutra. Briefly, Shakyamuni learned of the destruction of Buddhism, that is, that the Law would definitely disappear. What is well known of what he taught then was that the world of ultimate bliss on this earth, the world of Maitreya would come. At this point that which I wish to draw attention is the timing of this event. Shakyamuni said that the world would come in 5.670 million years. Giving this prediction a little thought, however, there is no reason for even someone like Shakyamuni to foretell something so absurdly in the future. First of all, such a far-off prediction has no meaning. One cannot imagine why a prediction about what the earth and humanity is doing in such a distant future would be made. According to divine revelation, in this prediction is hidden the profound significance of the numbers 5, 6, 7. In other words, five is the sun, or fire; six represents the moon, that is, water; and seven stands for the earth, soil. This is the correct order of the universe, and until now, the world has been in the incorrect order of six, seven, five. A more detailed explanation of this principle will come later, but even the two great holy ones, Shakyamuni and Christ, were not able to teach this truth. The sutras and the Bible lacked clarity, and it is evident that neither were all others able to grasp truth. As it was not the time for truth to become known, this lack of clarity was unavoidable.
But the time has now come for the Almighty’s profound truth to be revealed. What this volumes elucidates is distinct, to the point, without the least bit of doubt, and allows all to be able to easily grasp the truth. The great force of evil which has been strong until now will take control up to ninety-nine percent, but with only one percent left to be controlled, God’s power of one percent will unexpectedly appear, and overturn the conspiracy of the evil forces. In other words, the world that operated under the principle of evil preceding good will turn into a world where good precedes evil. In specific terms, this change may be described as follows. The ninety-nine percent of evil is contemporary medical science, and as I have previously written, medical science was also a necessary evil, so medical science has been permitted until now. But as a result, life, the most precious treasure of human beings has been taken prisoner by medical science. As medical science is mistaken, the danger to life is beyond description. Needless to say, because our work is the correction of material medical science which has been so firmly trusted by humanity, the task is not at all easy.
